The clients for this project loved the inside of their home, but thought that the outside felt incomplete, and needed some added outdoor covered areas to connect their beautifully landscaped yard to their home. The solution: a new “loggia,” an architectural feature that evolved in the Mediterranean region but is perfect for the mild and wet climate of the Pacific Northwest. We also added two more covered areas, one at the Kitchen and another to form a ‘sitting porch.’
